Entry Level Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team and ensure a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers in our store, responsible for processing transactions accurately and promptly. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment, maintain the cleanliness of your workspace, and provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting with any concerns.

Job: Full time

Salary Range: $17.50 – $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout the checkout process.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Scan and bag items efficiently to ensure quick and smooth customer flow.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to maintain accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues or direct them to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Trustworthy with a high level of integrity to handle money and sensitive customer information.
